Thanksgiving fun
Thanksgiving with the family
I spent my Thanksgiving with my family and it was a lot of fun. My Thanksgiving started off with me helping my mom cornbread stuffing.Besides the cooking I got to watch some football on tv. I got to watch the packers and lions play each other. After the football game I along with my family enjoyed eating the cooked turkey and all the sides. After eating the turkey and all the sides we got to finish our dessert which I really enjoyed. For dessert we had cheery pie and the derby pie and they both were delicious. Rest of my evening went towards with enjoying my family and having meaningful conversations with everybody. This Thanksgiving was definitely a blessing one and spending time with my family made me really happy.

Thanksgiving
is a week from tomorrow!!! We will celebrate it at my house with family and friends. I am looking forward to the delicious food and spending time with people I care about. I also hope to watch some of the exciting football games on tv that day. Click this link to find the gameday schedule: http://www.nfl.com/thanksgiving. I hope the Packers bet the Lions.

My 20th Birthday
Yesterday I turned 20! The first part of the day I volunteered with my friend, Josh at the Meals on Wheels site packaging meals for home deliveries to home-bound seniors. I do this every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-noon. Josh joined me for lunch at Home Run Burgers. Later, I celebrated with my family. They also took me out for dinner. It was my pick and I chose Smokey Bones. At home we had my Tiramisu cake. My family sang Happy Birthday to me and I blew out all my candles. My family got me a 32 inch flat screen TV for my room. I loved it because my old one was acting up and needed to be replaced.
Today I went to the IMAX with Sam to see Tornado Alley. It's been a while since I had been to the Science Center to see a movie. I really enjoyed learning about tornadoes.

Welcome
I hope you enjoy reading my new blog!
My name is Adam and I am a 19 year old who lives in Kentucky. My 20th Birthday is next week on the 8th which I have also discovered is Election Day. I hope you get out and vote! Info on voting in KY can be found here: http://vote-ky.org/
Yesterday I made Paella with my friend, Josh. It was very good but challenging to make. More info on Paella can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paella. My family will be eating the left overs tonight for dinner. I have also recently made a breakfast quiche that was outstanding! My family ate all of it and I was very excited to be cooking. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do.
This past month I got a gym membership to the Jewish Community Center or JCC. I go there every Wednesday and I am actually typing my blog from the computer lab here. I work out and play basketball with my friend, Sam. I also enjoy playing basketball at home with my Dad. I can beat them both!
