March maddness

Did you do a bracket already? I did one on online at ESPN.com. I picked Kentucky to move on to the next round. Who did you pick to win the games on TV? Kentucky will be playing Indiana on TV next in the round.

We played at Hoops on Satrday and on Sunday. We won the first game and lost the second game. We lost by 4 ponts. Today I am working out with Sly for my last session. I am also cooing dinner with Josh tonight for my family. I hope to keep in shape in the off season. Tonight is my last game of basketball of the season. I went to Etown this past weekend for a basketball tournament and we won. Today is my 3rd session of training out of 5 with Sly at the JCC. I am at the neighborhood coffee shop Heine Brothers working on my blog because the computers are still down at the JCC. They are moving them to a new location. Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day! The high is 60 degrees today and 68 tomorrow. Get out and enjoy it. ADAM

I have a game tonight at 6:45pm. This is the first game all season my dad will be able to come see me play. I only have 2 or 3 games left season. My team lost the game on Saturday in the tournament by a score of 24 to 28. I am not sure what I am making for dinner tonight. I have been looking up many recipes for my Wednesday dinners. Today is my 2nd personal training session with Sly at the JCC. I am purchasing a 5 session package to improve basketball skills.

tournament Saturday

This Saturday we have a tournament. The first game is at 1:30p at St. Patrick's. I do not have a game tonight. Instead, I am meeting with my new personal trainer from the JCC. His name is Sly and we are going to meet on the basketball court. This past weekend I went to the YUM Center to see the Lady Cards play with my family. They won!! After the game, I went to Havana Rumba for dinner. Tonight I am cooking with Josh and we are making chicken alfredo or fajitas for my family.

my game last night

My game last night was a battle to the end. In the end the scores were 17 for my team fire and 18 for the other team. It was really close and really intense ! This week i made chicken fried rice with Josh also we made eggrolls and 4 of us ate it at my house. It is better then fried rice at restaurants ! This week also went to meals on wheels monday and thursdays and i rolled silverware and packed salads and dressing and I helped put the meals in the oven. I like the cards and they won last night.

Game tonight. 2-0 Team Fire

Tonight I have a game at 7:30pm. My team is on a roll and we have won our two games thus far. The first game I started and had a couple assists. Our games are played at Christian Academy on Wednesday evenings. Last Wednesday I made pastitsio at home with Sam. On a trip to Nashville I tried this at a restaurant and have wanted to make it ever since. The Greek word pastitsio derives from the Italian pasticcio, which loosely translates to a mess or a hodgepodge. Here is a picture of the dish I made. We had it for dinner as a family and everyone said it was very good!

I also started a new recipe book last week to include all my new recipes I am trying out. If you have any you would like to share with me, please send them to my email or Facebook account. I am thinking of throwing a Super Bowl Party at my house. And could use some appetizer ideas. Thank you!
